“ The beer version of the cocktail bar next door (same owner, and you can tell!) is another of the 'new' bars in this little town which is trying hard to reinvent itself. The town, that is, not the bar, which wouldn't seem out of place in any big city. They have a great selection of beers, but don't expect your normal continental lagers: this is more of a specialist beer place and they've got several on tap. They also have a decent selection of gins. They have gigs on (on a little raised corner stage) and it does get very busy. A sofa room (which doesn't quite work, in my opinion) completes the 'modern, chilled vibe'. The place certainly feels right for this new version of Tyldesley. ”
